For $10 attendees were able to enjoy a selection of wine, h’orderves, fashion, giveaways, and leave with a spring makeover. All proceeds that were collected upon entry and at the silent auction are being donated to the St. Jude’s Hospital for Children.
Showcasing 12 outfits in total, the models performed as hostesses for the night as they sashayed around in the 2016 spring line from Pink Magnolia Boutique.
“This [event] was a great way to showcase our new fun and flirty spring line and also support St. Jude,” says boutique owner, Samantha James.
According to the St. Jude’s website, breakthroughs are being made and their has been reports of new discoveries on genomics, which is the late effects of childhood cancer. Every donation made to this cause is going toward the research and discovery of finding a cure for cancer.
“I’ve always wanted to do charity events and I’ve always wanted to do fashion for spring and fall so it just made sense to do them together,” says salon owner, Mary Lechene.
This will not be the last of LeChene’s charity events. There are preparations in the making for another in Fall 2016.
